As our clients turn toward cloud scalable solutions for the next generation of technology to drive ecommerce innovation and growth, the Clouda Commerce Practice probes major issues in our key sectors, works with our client teams to understand business problems in-depth and then partners with our Partners to design, fund, and bring to market Cloud Commerce solutions.
As a key member of the Cloud Commerce Practice, the Clouda Commerce VP of Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing pursuits, qualifying opportunities, co-selling with partners and sales teams, and managing their individual performance as well as the Practice’s portfolio of opportunities. Beyond driving revenue & pipeline growth, the Clouda Commerce VP of Sales also plays a key role in setting strategy, reporting market feedback on solutions, and advising our vertical leaders in their pursuit of ecommerce opportunities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable driving a sale individually while also enabling others to sell and can drive technical discussions with clients that require familiarity with ecommerce, APIs, PIM, CMS and other related technologies. They will be able to translate the complexities of the cloud commerce market into actionable intelligence and will act as a trusted advisor on Clouda Inc capabilities and ecommerce partner technologies for our mutual customers.
Your Impact
- Create, originate and pursue opportunities in the enterprise ecommerce market with an average sale value in six and seven figures,

- Build relationships with ecommerce partner sales teams and be the face of Clouda Inc to collaborate on joint opportunities and guide the co-selling process
- Advocate for various clouda commerce solutions within Clouda Inc accounts and clearly articulate the value of the partnership as a key growth driver
- Assist VTEX and Clouda Inc sales teams in identification, qualification and pursuit of potential opportunities, focused on organic growth within net new accounts
- Build relationships with key stakeholders among VTEX/Clouda Inc clients/prospects, oversee the relationships of pre-sales roles and anticipate & prevent conflicts between parties before they happen Identify instances where Clouda inc and/or Ecommerce services will contribute to client/prospect’s strategic business and technical initiatives and advise industry verticals on their pursuit
- Participate in building SOWs and service offerings to create clarity for CLouda Inc delivery leads and client partners: stay involved in delivery during initial stages of project kick-off and handoff opportunity to vertical leaders once underway
- Drive executive connections with sales leadership and partner leadership, including representing Clouda Inc value proposition to key Ecommerce Partner Sales Managers, Key Account Directors, and executives
- Live within the cloud commerce ecosystem, understand key leaders, value proposition and market trends, provide SME materials for business development efforts
- Create sales collateral, working with sales support offshore and our marketing team to position Clouda Inc for the next phase of ecommerce work, as an extension of our B2B and B2c strategies
- Properly track pipeline & growth activities in internal CRM and ecommerce partner tools.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the B2B, B2C, or B2B2C ecommerce technology landscape
- Successful track record of building and managing business within a professional services, consulting, or technology services environment
- Ability to navigate a large organization and have the power of persuasion through content and confidence
- Demonstrated ability to take a consultative approach to engaging with executives
- Demonstrated ability to work across internal organization to cast, pitch and sell deals with relevant subject matter expertise
- Prior experience working with sales teams at Adobe Magento, Salesforce Cloud Commerce, Oracle Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce or similar ecommerce platform teams.
- Experience selling into the following verticals is a plus: Consumer Products, Retail, Manufacturing, B2B Distribution, Food and Beverage, and Technology.
